Si bien qu’il soit un homme détestable, vous avez envie de découvrir la nouvelle oeuvre de Woody Allen (comme il nous arrive à nous d’écouter du R Kelly…), « Un jour de pluie à New York » met en scène Timothée Chalamet – la nouvelle coqueluche d’Hollywood – ,  la douce Elle Fanning mais aussi Jude Law et Selena Gomez (vous avez bien lu). L’histoire est simple, fidèle à la filmographie du réalisateur : un couple d’étudiants souhaite passer un weekend en amoureux à New York mais tout ne se passe pas comme prévu et chacun fait face, de son côté, à de nouvelles rencontres et situations inattendues. Un futur classique ? Une comédie d’action à l’américaine où l’on retrouve la pétillante Nina Dobrev, Luke Bracey, Crispin Glover et Clé Bennett. Après son adaptation du roman « Les Lois de l’attraction » de Bret Easton Ellis, le réalisateur Roger Avary propose avec « Lucky Day », un film plein de suspens où un braqueur tout juste sorti de prison est poursuivi par son ennemi, un psychopathe tueur à gages (vraiment effrayant) voulant venger son frère décédé lors d’un braquage qui a mal tourné. // An American-style action comedy featuring the lovely Nina Dobrev, Luke Bracey, Crispin Glover and Clé Bennett. Casting 5 étoiles pour ce film de John Crowley (True Detective, Brooklyn) réunissant Nicole Kidman, le génial Ansel Elgort, Sarah Paulson ou encore Luke Wilson. L’histoire de Théo, 13 ans, qui perd sa mère lors d’une explosion au célèbre musée le Met (New York) et qui tente d’y voir plus clair et de se reconstruire en grandissant, tout en conservant près de lui, comme symbole d’espoir, un tableau d’un minuscule oiseau enchaîné à son perchoir : Le Chardonneret.
