Savez-vous où logent les musiciens après un show au New Morning ? A l’Hôtel Paradis bien évidemment ! Dès le lobby, nous nous sentons à l’abri dans ce cocon moderne et chaleureux avec son accueil en verrière, ses alcôves cosy où prendre le petit-déjeuner, travailler (wifi rapide) et pourquoi pas, organiser une interview ou une soirée en comité réduit… Lecteur vinyle, Lana Del Rey aux murs, bières artisanales à déguster, mobilier au motif « pied-de-poule » que l’on retrouve également sur les déjà iconiques têtes de lit des chambres : tout fait penser à une maison de campagne ultra chaleureuse en plein Paris. L’hôtel est effectivement parfaitement placé, rue des Petites-Écuries (75010), en prolongation de la Rue Richer et de ses bons restaurants et commerces à l’infini (Mamiche, Déviant, Eels, l’Orient d’Or, la brigade du Tigre, Libertino, Ozlem..) et non loin de Drouot et des Grands Boulevards. On aime les 38 chambres baignées de lumière naturelle, décorées par Dorothée Meilichzon, spacieuses, élégantes et très bien insonorisées, réparties au travers des étages à l’instar d’une résidence secondaire. Certaines proposent même des petits balcons pour un petit-déjeuner gourmand et bio en direct des toits parisiens. Coup de cœur pour la très jolie suite traversante du dernier étage avec sa baignoire (produits Codage), ses deux canapés, son joli fauteuil jaune, ses deux Smart Tvs connectées à Netflix ou encore Amazon Prime Video, son miroir géant, sa sélection de thés, ses poutres apparentes, son grand lit ultra moelleux et sa vue directe sur le Sacré Cœur qui domine. A réserver sans plus tarder ! As soon as we enter the lobby, we feel safe in this modern and warm cocoon with its glass reception, its cosy alcoves where we can have breakfast, work (fast wifi) and why not, organize an interview or a party in small group… Vinyl player, Lana Del Rey on the walls, craft beers to taste, furniture with a « houndstooth » pattern that can also be found on the already iconic headboards of the rooms : everything makes you think of an ultra warm country house in the middle of Paris. The hotel is indeed perfectly located, rue des Petites-Écuries (75010), in extension of the Rue Richer and its endless good restaurants and shops (Mamiche, Déviant, Eels, l’Orient d’Or, la brigade du Tigre, Libertino, Ozlem…) and not far from Drouot and the Grands Boulevards. We like the 38 rooms bathed in natural light, decorated by Dorothée Meilichzon, spacious, elegant and very well soundproofed, spread across the floors like a second home. Some even have small balconies for a gourmet and organic breakfast directly from the Parisian rooftops. We especially like the very pretty suite on the top floor with its bathtub (Codage products), its two sofas, its pretty yellow armchair, its two Smart TVs connected to Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, its giant mirror, its selection of teas, its exposed beams, its large soft bed and its direct view of the Sacré Coeur.
